The ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ (ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½) and the Missouri Department of Commerce and Insurance are co-sponsoring the 2023 , November 14 in St. Louis, Missouri. Join regulators, insurers, emergency management leaders, and government officials to learn and discuss how to β€œclose the gap” on earthquake insurance coverage, particularly in the New Madrid Seismic Zone. is open.

Missouri Department of Commerce and Insurance Director and ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½ President Chlora Lindley-Myers and Central U.S. Earthquake Consortium Executive Director Brian Blake will kick off the Summit with welcome remarks.

Participants will hear presentations on earthquake science and tools to assess risk; why coordination and collaboration among agencies before disasters is key to effective risk management strategies; what consumers need to know about earthquake insurance options and how to use effective messaging to reach them; how to establish mitigation programs for community resilience; how insurers are innovating on risk transfer solutions, and more.
